Hodges heads list of eight receiving WCC academic honors

PROVO, Utah--Catcher Grant Hodges heads a list of eight BYU baseball players selected to the West Coast Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Hodges, a freshman from Oldsmar, Florida, earned a 3.89 grade point average in an undeclared major for Gold Honors.

Infielder Dillon Robinson (3.59 in finance), a senior All-West Coast and Academic All-WCC selection, earned Silver Honors.

Infielder Tanner Chauncey (3.30 undeclared), outfielder Andy Isom (3.36 in business), outfielder Dallen Reber (3.07 in exercise and wellness), pitcher Michael Rucker (3.16 in business) and outfielders Eric Urry (3.11 in psychology) and Derrick Whitney (3.16 in pre-management) received Bronze Honors.

Honor roll honorees lettered for their team, earned a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher and averaged 12 credit hours.
