Robinson named Academic All-District VIII

PROVO, Utah -- Third baseman Dillon Robinson of BYU has been voted to the Capital One Academic All-District VIII baseball team.

Robinson, who has a 3.53 cumulative grade point average in finance, was the only player from the West Coast Conference selected by CoSida (College Sports Information Directors of America).

The junior from Pleasant Grove currently ranks No. 29 in the nation with a .390 batting average. Robinson now advances to the national ballot for Academic All-America consideration.
