SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- Juniors Adam Law and Bret Lopez of BYU have been named to the 25-member 2013 West Coast Conference Baseball All-Academic Team.

Law, a third baseman from Provo, has a cumulative 3.29 grade point average in sociology. Lopez, a designated hitter from Orem, has a 3.28 GPA in exercise science. Law has a team-leading .364 batting average and a .442 on-base percentage.

Both Law and Lopez were named last year to the West Coast Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll, bronze level.

At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport.  To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his team.
