  • Drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1978 and played for the Philadelphia Eagles that same season
  • Honorable Mention All-American, All-Western Athletic Conference and Academic All-WAC at BYU in 1977
  • All-state in 1970-1971 at Granite High School where he led team to a third-place finish as a junior with a 10-1 record
