Won the discus at the Cal Poly Invitational with a throw of 129'03"/39.40m. . . placed fourth in the discus (147'05"/44.94) at the UTEP Invitational. . . second-placed finish in the discus with a throw of 149'00.25"/45.42m at the BYU Cougar Invitational. . . threw the discus 148'06"/45.26m to place first at the Robison Invitational. . . fourth place finish in the discus (143'06"/43.74m) at the BYU Tri-Meet.

Sophmore Year 2000

 Third-place finish in the discus with a throw of 147'08" at the Cal Poly Invitational. . . finished third in the discus (134'11"/41.12) at the UTEP Invitational. . . threw the discus 140'10"/42.94 at the UNLV Invitational to finish fourth. . . fourth-place finish in the discus with a throw of 41.57m at the BYU Tri-Meet. . . won the discus at the Utah Collegiate Challenge with a throw of 133'11"/40.82m. . . seventh-place finish at the Mountain West Conference Championships with a throw of 145'11"/44.48.
