- Sister, Christy, scored the first 10.00 for BYU Gymnastics in Spring of 1992, brother, Josh was an All-American, ran track for BYU from 2004-06, finished third in the 3,000M steeplechase at the U.S. Olympic Trials and went on to represent the United States at the 2008 Olympic Summer Games in Beijing, China

- Cross country team won the Ohio Division I State Championship title in 2008 .
- Named the Wendy's Heisman Award winner
- Placed eighth at the Ohio State Championships in the 1600-meter race
