Career Summary

Coming to BYU out of Bingham High School, Tori Almond had a successful pitching career. She earned wins against four top-25 teams throughout her time as a Cougar. In 2012, she was named to the NFCA All-Pacific Region Second Team. As a senior, she was named to the All-WCC First Team in BYU's first year in the conference. She threw two no-hitters in her career, one solo and one combined. Almond finished on many of the career and season lists at BYU, including in wins, complete games, shutouts, saves, innings pitched, strikeouts, strikeouts per 7 innings and ERA.

• Two-time Deseret News Ms. Softball (2008, 2010)
• Led team to three-straight state 5A championships (2007-2009)

• Three-time All-State First Team
• Three-time 5A Tournament MVP
• Second-team All-American as a senior
• Salt Lake Flames club team was seven-time state champions
• Teammate of fellow softball player Carly Duckworth on Salt Lake Flames
• Holds the state career strikeout record with 334 strikeouts
• Threw two perfect game and four no-hitters in 2010
• Went 21-5 her senior year with a 0.30 ERA and 334 strikeouts against 28 walks
