Summary

One of the most sought-after centers in the West coming out of high school, Dawes was a key low-post contributor for the Cougars. The 6-foot-11 center played in 19 games as a junior after starting 13 games in 2005 and ranking second on the team in rebounds. Dawes also appeared in 23 games with one start on BYU's 24-9 2001 Mountain West Conference Championship team. He elected to forego his remaining eligibility following his junior season for health reasons.
