A preseason All-Mountain West Conference selection, Wesley enters his senior year as the only player on the roster to have played in each of head coach Steve Cleveland's three previous seasons ... a three-year starter, he has developed into one of the top players in the Mountain West Conference with good scoring ability from both the post and the perimeter ... he earned second-team All-MWC honors as a junior and was on the WAC Newcomer Team as a freshman ... he has bulked up between his junior and senior seasons and is in the best shape of his career ... he missed part of his sophomore season while attending Salt Lake Community College for a semester and struggled to regain his freshman form ... a team captain, he returned to lead BYU in rebounding and was nine points shy of Lyday in scoring last year ... he will again be asked to provide leadership as a primary scorer and rebounder.

Freshman Year 1997-1998

Started every game but New Mexico at Provo ... scored 27 points at Utah State on 10 of 18 shooting ... had a double-double (10 points, 10 rebounds) vs. Washington State ... scored a career-high 31 points vs. Washington (third highest freshman total at BYU) ... chosen MVP of the Cougar Classic ... was 11-12 from the free throw line vs. UTEP ... had 28 points at Utah (11-11 from the free throw line tied a school percentage record) ... had a double-double vs. Air Force (18 points, 10 boards) ... string of 19 consecutive free throws made was broken vs. UNLV ... scored 19 in the upset win over New Mexico in the Pit ... had 31 at UTEP to help Cougars win the regular season triple-overtime finale ... chosen as WAC Mountain Division Player of the Week for the final week of the regular season ... hit 16 free throws (a BYU single game record) including the game winner in the third overtime at UTEP ... led WAC conference games in free throw shooting (77 of 85, .906) ... selected as the team's outstanding offensive player ... Returned to the team in December after spending a semester at Salt Lake Community College... tied for second in scoring for the Cougars averaging 11 points a game ... averaged nearly five rebounds a game ... hit a 3-pointer with 3.1 seconds left to defeat Hawai`i in Honolulu Jan. 16 ... recorded a double-double against San Diego State Feb. 13 ... scored 17 points in Cougars' 90-74 upset victory in WAC Tournament over TCU ... scored season-high 24 points at New Mexico, Jan. 30.

Junior Year 1999-2000

Wesley was BYU's leading rebounder (5.8 rpg) and second leading scorer (16.8 ppg) as a junior ... named to the Mountain West Conference Second Team ... one of three players to start all 33 games (also Lyday and Vranes) ... finished sixth in the MWC in scoring and had the leagues highest scoring conference game with 34 points vs. Wyoming ... finished the year in 19th place on the all-time BYU scoring list with 1,171 points in three years ... led BYU in scoring for most of the year and scored just nine points less than Terrell Lyday overall ... was BYU's top scorer in 17 games and scored in double figures in 30 of BYU's 33 games, including a string of 18 straight at one point of the season ... scored 20 or more points in 11 games and had one game with more than 30 points ... during BYU's three-game NIT run he scored team-high 10 points at Notre Dame, had 16 points and game-high 9 rebounds vs. Southern Illinois and 13 points and team-best 7 rebounds vs. Bowling Green ...
