A junior college transfer, Hal played two years with Snow Junior College. He led the Badgers into the national finals as a freshman, and won JC All-America honors both frosh and sophomore years. Before entering Snow, Hal was Class “B” all-state from Gunnison High School. Jensen handles himself well for player his size, and his best point-getter is a jump shot. It may take time, however, for him to adjust to the Y brand of ball. A P.E. major.
Senior Year
1956-1957
Hal came to BYU from Snow Junior College where he led the Badgers to national finals, won all-American honors for himself. He lettered at forward last year for Cougars. Hal has developed fine jump shot. He won all-state honors as a prep at Gunnison High School.
