Thorn will be remembered by many BYU fans as a member of the University’s National Invitational Tournament championship team of 1951. Jim didn’t see too much action as a sophomore guard, namely because the talent of that squad was knee deep. Jim has seen tour in service since then, but is back to give it another try.
