Freshman Year 1984-1985

Slowed at the beginning of the season by a severe ankle injury ... led team in field goal percentage making .529 of his attempts and was second in blocked shots with 12 for the season ... played in 26 games his first year at BYU ... sparked the Cougars at Colorado State, scoring eight points and pulling down three rebounds in three consecutive games and had a career high vs. San Diego St. with nine rebounds ... scored 32 points in a JV game vs. the College of Eastern Utah.

Sophmore Year 1985-1986

Led the team in scoring in the season opener vs. Washington State with 22 points and just kept climbing from there ... was originally slated to fill the sixth man position for BYU but was inserted into the starting line-up for the Utah State game in December and earned the WAC Player-of-the-Week honor and a place in the starting line-up ... led the Cougars in scoring in 19-of-32 season and post-season games and scored double figures in all but two games ... was leading rebounder in four games with a high of 12 ... high scoring game for the season was vs. Hawaii when he had 30 points and led the team in field goal percentage with .545 ... honors included honorable mention AP and Sporting News All-America lists, first team All-District 7, second team All-WAC, and member of the All-Kactus Klassic and All-Cougar Classic teams.

Junior Year 1986-1987
