Born in Murray, Utah ... parents are Ralph and Connie Haws ... older brother, Kelly, was all-state basketball player at Hillcrest High School ... served mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Florida ... has recorded times of 10.64 in the 100 meters, 21.39 in the 200 meters, 4.46 in the 40 yard dash, leaped 23-0 1/2 in the long jump and has a 32-inch vertical jump ... placed fifth as a freshman in the WAC 100 meters and went to the NCAA Championships in Louisiana as a member of the 4 X 100 relay team which won the WAC in 1987 ... married Tiffanie Dillie in July, 1988 .... communications major.
