Started 10 games including tournament game against New Orleans ... sealed BYU victory at UTEP with a late steal and basket ... high point effort of nine also came in UTEP game ... only true freshman to see significant playing time with the varsity ... shot 40% from the field.

Sophmore Year 1987-1988

Played in all 32 games as a seventh man role ... high game was 12 points against San Diego State in Provo ... regarded as a defensive stopper ... would have been among leagues top 10 in field goal shooting but didnt qualify.

Junior Year 1990-1991

Started every game ... best game was 24 points against Utah ... his 164 assists led 72 players from Orange County involved in collegiate ball last season ... made four free throws in final 48 seconds of game to defeat Utah State in Provo.
