Was All-Scenic West Conference at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls where he was coached by Skip Walker ... won the Student Athlete Award and made the President's List as a 4.0 student ... was second in the league in strikeouts ... was 5-2 with a 2.28 ERA in 51.1 innings for CSI in 2003 and struck out 53, walking 20 in 13 appearances and 11 starts ... has been drafted twice, by the Boston Red Sox in 19th round of 2002 and in 2003 by the Chicago White Sox in the 40th round.
