Drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 27th round of the 1979 MLB Draft. Appeared in six games for Oakland in 1983, going 8.1 innings with three strikeouts. Traded to the New York Yankees in 1984. Played in the minor leagues from 1979-87 and for one inning in 1997, finishing with a 44-57 record with 40 saves.
