Was the leading batter on the U.S. Baseball Federation World Games team in the summer of 1982 at .456 ... he was the most valuable player at the Riverside Tournament ... All-WAC and unanimous All-WAC Northern Division ... Second Team All-District 7 ... finished sixth nationally in doubles and his .445 batting average was 13h in the NCAA ... led the WAC in batting (.510) runs (31), hits (50) and boules (17) in conference games ... set WAC Northern Division records for most doubles in WAC games (17) and most doubles overall (26) ... started at first base again ... was All-Seguro Social in Mexico in the 1982 pre-season tourney ... also played in the summer for the North Pole Nicks in Alaska before Touring Holland, Taiwan and Korea in World Games competition.
