Named to Baseball America magazine's Freshman All-America team and to the Mizuna Freshman All-America team and to the Mizuno Freshman All-America team by Collegiate Baseball magazine ... selected honorable mention Super Smith Team by the National Baseball Writers Association ... WAC Eastern Division Freshman of the Year as a rightfielder, designated hitter and first baseman ... was WAC Player of the Week against Air Force ... led team in batting average, runs, hits, doubles, homers and RBI ... was second in the WAC in hits and RBI ... was 13th in the NCAA in batting average (.413) ... hit a pair of homers in one game against Air Force and Regis.

Sophmore Year 1996

Hit a grand slam and 15 doubles (ranked 35th in NCAA) ... tied school record with seven at bats against Wyoming ... was the WAC's leading returnee in hits and RBI.

Junior Year 1997

Hit two homers in the season finale against Utah.

Senior Year 1998

First-team All-WAC ... WAC Player of the Week against Air Force and Utah ... broke five WAC records for conference games only ... hit three consecutive homers against Utah ... part of a triple play against Southern Utah with the bases loaded when Mark Smith threw to him from right field for out number two and Winget threw to Chris Circuit for the third out.
