  • Uncle Judd Wilstead played for the Milwaukee Brewers organization
  • Brother Kody signed football letter of intent with BYU as a quarterback
  • Served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Bacolod, Philippines

  • Batted .527 with seven home runs, 13 doubles, four triples and 44 RBI during his senior season in which he was named team MVP
  • Three-time first team All-Region 9 in both baseball and football and once in basketball
  • Lettered three years in baseball and football and once in basketball
  • First team All-State by Salt Lake Tribune and second team All-State by Deseret News as a tight end in football
  • U.S. Army Scholar Athlete for Washington County School District
  • MVP of the Gates field World Series, getting walk off single vs. future BYU teammate Hayden Nielsen.
