First-team all-district, twice as a pitcher and once as a utility player his senior year ... also second-team all-district as a senior in the outfield ... all-region first-team as a junior and senior ... all-state honorable mention as a junior and all-metro honorable mention as a senior ... had a 3.2 ERA with 59 strikeout in 46 innings as a senior ... was 8-1 with 77 strikeouts, nine walks and a 1.53 ERA as a junior ... was 2-0 with a save and a 0.65 ERA as a sophomore ... lettered three times in baseball ... twice received the athletic academic award and was a member of National Honor Society ... coached by Wayne Todd at Loudoun Valley High.
