Selected Second Team All-Mountain West Conference, MWC Scholar-Athlete, Academic All-MWC, MWC Pitcher of Week (vs. N.Mexico St.) and a Cougar Club Scholar Athlete... againtst New Mexico State he struck out seven in six shutout innings of a 10-3 victory ... struck out seven in eight shutout innings of his first complete game, throwing 135 pitches at Washington in a 4-2 win ... he recorded defensive gemss in the sixth inning of 1-2, KS, 1U in a 12-3 victory over San Diego State the night before his wedding the next morning ... retired New Mexico in order in the fifth and seventh innings in the 9-2 victory and threw 126 pitches ... struck out Lobos in the sixth and eight innings, looking--he made outstanding 1-3 outs in both the second and third innings to foil sacrifice attempts ... in five games this season, no one registered an extra base hit against him.

Named Third Team Academic All-America by ESPN The Magazine as selected by CoSida ... selected Third Team All-America by Ping!Baseball ... was Mountain West Conference Pitcher of the Year, First Team All-MWC and Academic All-MWC ... selected Second Team All-Midwest Region ... voted to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District team for his 3.82 grade point average, making him one of few who can boast that his ERA is lower than his GPA ... twice selected MWC Pitcher of the Week, first for his 5-0 shutout at TCU which snapped the Horned Frogs' 19-game home winning streak and marked the first shutout loss for TCU in 53 games ... his second honor came against the University of Utah ... he has thrown a one-hitter vs. Southern and a pair of three-hitters (New Mexico and Washington) ... struck out nine vs. TCU in Provo and eight vs. Utah, UNLV and Southern Utah ... threw complete games on the road at Portland, UNLV, TCU and New Mexico ... had six games where he did not walk a batter (Northern Colorado, UNLV, TCU, Air Force, Southern Utah and San Diego State).
