PROVO -- After splitting its two home matches last weekend, the No. 58 BYU women's tennis team returns to action, taking on Nevada and Kansas on Friday and Saturday, respectively. The Cougars (5-6) are coming off a 6-1 win over Kansas State.

Nevada (1-4) dropped a grueling 4-3 match at No. 37 UC Irvine on Monday. The Wolf Pack won the doubles point, but went on to win only two of the six singles matches. The No. 47-ranked Maria Mizyuk leads Nevada in singles play.

Against Kansas (3-4), BYU currently leads the series 15-6, including a 4-3 win in its matchup last season. The Cougars have won the last three meetings between these two teams.

Friday's match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. MT with Saturday's set for 12 p.m. MT. Both matches will be played at the BYU Indoor Tennis Courts and admission is free. BYU "Y Lot" parking is available to visitors after 4 p.m. on Fridays and all BYU parking is open to the public on Saturdays. Come and enjoy popcorn, pizza and prizes.
