PROVO -- The No. 56 BYU women' tennis team continues its play at home this weekend when it hosts No, 39 Denver and No. 68 Kansas State on Friday and Saturday, respectively. The Cougars are 4-5 on the season and 3-1 at home.

BYU's newly ranked doubles teams of No. 37 Jennifer Miccoli and Anastasia Surkova, and No. 46 Dolly Chang and Kristina Doerr will help lead the Cougars this weekend.

The 2007 season for BYU opened with a 5-2 win over Denver and the team looks to duplicate those results. The Pioneers currently have a perfect 7-0 record on the season after defeating Arkansas State last weekend.

The Cougars posted a 6-1 victory in their meeting with Kansas State last season. BYU leads the series 15-2, with its most recent loss to the Wildcats coming in 2003. K-State is coming off its first loss of the season, dropping a 6-1 match to No. 41 Tulsa.

Friday's match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. MT with Saturday's set for 12 p.m. MT. Both matches will be played at the BYU Indoor Tennis Courts and admission is free. BYU "Y Lot" parking is available to visitors after 4 p.m. on Fridays and all BYU parking is open to the public on Saturdays.
