BYU Women Host Pair Of MWC Teams This Weekend

The BYU women's tennis team will host a pair of Mountain West Conference opponents this weekend at the Indoor Tennis Courts.

The Cougars will host UNLV Firday at 1 p.m. and New Mexico Saturday at 1 p.m.

BYU, 1-3, is starting its dual home season after a trip to the Minnesota Court Classic that saw the Cougars fall to Virginia Commonwealth and host Minnesota.

After the two losses to start the season, BYU traveled to Memphis, Tenn., and Oxford, Miss., to play the University of Memphis and the University of Mississippi. The Cougars defeated Memphis 7-0 to pick up their first dual win of the season, but fell to the 6th-ranked Mississippi, 0-6.

UNLV comes into the match with a 2-0 dual record and is ranked 57th in the country.

New Mexico comes into the weekend with a 3-3 record, including two in a row.
