Women Make NCAA Field of 64

PROVO -- After a successful regular season and strong showing at this year's MWC Women's Tennis Championships, BYU's tennis team was selected as one of 64 teams to compete in this year's NCAA Tennis Championships.

The No. 44 Cougar women will play hosts California (12-9), on Friday, May 10. Other teams competing in the regional are Fresno State and Washington State.

Lu Oswald and Dominique Reynolds will lead the BYU effort in singles play with Reynolds joining Brooke Beverley on doubles.

"We're definitely looking forward to playing in the tournament," said BYU tennis coach Craig Manning. "We've had plenty of rest and we have everybody healthy. We will need to play very good tennis if we want to advance into the next round."
