Women's tennis travels to Gonzaga and Portland

PROVO, Utah – BYU women’s tennis heads on the road again as the team faces off against West Coast Conference foes, Gonzaga and Portland this weekend. The Cougars are looking to end their three-match losing streak and add a few conference wins to the record.

 

BYU will travel to Gonzaga first as it takes on the Bulldogs for the 12 time. Gonzaga sits at 6-7 on the season and is currently on a four-match losing streak, however, the Bulldogs are 5-1 in home matches. BYU currently leads the all-time series 6-5 and looks to improve with another win on Friday, March 25.

 

The Cougars will follow up their match with the Bulldogs by traveling to Portland on Saturday, March 26. The Pilots are 5-6 on the season and are coming off a 6-1 win over Montana State before taking on San Diego and BYU this weekend. Portland is 1-1 in home matches this season and the Cougars lead the all-time series 10-1.

 

BYU will take on Gonzaga at Stevens Tennis Center on March 25 at 12 p.m. PDT and Portland at the LP Tennis Center on March 26 at 11 a.m. PDT.
