Women's Tennis opens 2020 regular season at Hawai'i Invitational
PROVO, Utah – BYU women’s tennis will begin its 2020 season on the road at the University of Hawai'i Invitational from Jan. 9-11 in Honolulu, Hawai'i.
“We are excited to start off the 2020 season in Hawai'i, but more excited to be back together working towards the goals we have set as a team,” BYU women's tennis head coach Holly Parkinson Hasler said. "We are hoping for dry courts and clear weather so we can get some great matches in at sea level this weekend."
Senior Kate Cusick Truman, juniors Madeline Almeida Wanlass and Leah Heimuli, sophomores Morgan Hall Curtis and freshmen Emilee Astle, Emma Jewell and Helen Jiao will represent the Cougars in the tournament. Four other teams will also be competing in the invitational including Hawai'i, Louisville, Northern Arizona and Washington State.
The matches will be held in the University of Hawaii tennis complex. There is no livestream.
