PROVO, Utah – BYU women’s tennis head coach Holly Parkinson Hasler announced the signing of Helen Jiao on Thursday for the 2019-20 season.

“We are thrilled to have Helen join our team this fall,” Parkinson Hasler said. “She is an ambitious, mentally strong player and is anxious to contribute in any way that she can. Coming from China will be an adjustment, and we can’t wait to help Helen dive right in.”

From Xi’an China, Jiao attended Xi’an Senior High School of Art. She holds championship titles from the Sri Lanka ITF Junior Circuit week one and the Sri Lanka ITF Junior Circuit week two. She was also the runner up at the Indonesia AGS International Junior Championships.

Helen will be a crucial asset to the team at the start of the new season.
