Nabieva named to WCC All-Academic Team
SAN BRUNO, Calif. – BYU women’s tennis player Natella Nabieva was named to the West Coast Conference 2016-17 All-Academic Team on Wednesday.
Nabieva, a senior from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, earned a 3.33 GPA as a pre-marketing major. She finished the season with a 10-9 singles record and 5-3 mark in WCC play. This is Nabieva’s second academic conference honor as she was named All-WCC Academic Honorable Mention last season.
To be considered for the all-academic team, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and be a significant contributor to his or her team. The WCC selects an all-academic team for each WCC-sponsored sport at the conclusion of each athletic season. To read the WCC’s full release, click here.
