Ranked BYU doubles compete at Riviera/ITA All American Champs.
PROVO, Utah -- BYU's Nicolette Poulsen and Savannah Ware will compete in doubles play at the Riviera/ITA Women's All American Championships held at the Riviera Tennis Club in Palisades, CA. The qualifying round will be held Oct. 6-7 followed by the main draw Oct. 8-11.
"The All American Championships will be a great opportunity for Savannah and Nicolette to play against the best competition in the country," BYU coach Lauren Jones-Spencer said. "It's a unique environment and a really fun tournament."
Poulsen and Ware are currently ranked No. 33 in the ITA preseason poll. Last season, they earned All-WCC honors in doubles after posting a 12-4 record during the 2014-2015 season.
The Cougars will face Oklahoma State's Katarina Adamovic and Vladica Babic ranked No. 35 in the preseason poll and seeded eighth in the qualifying draw.
Doubles play will begin at 9:00 a.m. PT. Follow the tournamet action through ITA Tennis.
