Four Cougars receive All-WCC awards
PROVO, Utah – Savannah Ware, Toby Miclat, Nicolette Tran and Morgan Anderson-Littlewood all received All-West Coast Conference honorable mention honors Wednesday.
Ware and Tran were both honorable mention in singles and as a doubles team this season. Ware led the Cougars in singles wins this season with 16 victories and was tied for second with six conference wins. Tran played most of the season from the No. 2 slot and went 5-12 on the year and 3-4 in league play. As a doubles duo, the teammates went 11-6 on the season and 6-1 overall.
Miclat and Anderson-Littlewood both recorded double-digit wins in singles for BYU this season. Miclat went 14-6 on the year and led the Cougars in conference play, going 7-1. Anderson-Littlewood tied Ware with six conference wins and went 12-6 overall.
The No. 72 Cougars are in action tomorrow at noon PDT competing in the 2015 WCC tournament in San Diego. Live scoring is available through the women’s schedule page.
