Cougars host Boise State
PROVO, Utah – No. 55 BYU women’s tennis (2-2) returns home this Friday, February 6, to host Boise State (4-1) at the indoor tennis courts.
“We have been working really hard this week on things we saw we needed to work on after the Denver match,” BYU head coach Lauren Jones-Spencer said. “The girls are looking really strong and we are looking forward to stepping up this match.”
The Cougars return home after falling on the road to No. 69 University of Denver 5-2 over the weekend. Sophomores Mayci Jones and Savannah Ware earned the lone points for BYU, winning their singles matches in straight sets. The Cougars are looking for their first home win of the season against the Broncos.
Boise State comes into Provo on a two-match winning streak after beating Seattle 6-1 and Weber State 5-2. Live video feed and live stats are available through the BYU schedule page.
After the Broncos, the Cougars get back out on the road and head down to No. 36 Arizona on Friday and No. 27 Arizona State on Saturday.
