Anderson-Littlewood and Sheehan-Dizon named WCC Doubles Team of the Week

PROVO, Utah -- No. 71 BYU women’s tennis doubles pair Morgan Anderson-Littlewood and Meghan Sheehan-Dizon were awarded West Coast Conference Doubles Team of the Week, Wednesday.
 
The Cougar doubles team helped BYU collect the doubles point in both matches last weekend. Against No. 50 Yale, the pair slipped past Amber Li and Annie Sullivan 8-7(4) in a Cougar loss. The next day the doubles team followed with another win as they beat Stephanie Vlad and Joanna Smith of No. 28 Arizona State, 8-6, in a narrow 4-3 BYU loss.
 
Junior Danielle Flores of Saint Mary’s was named WCC Singles Player of the Week.
 
The Cougars play at home beginning Thursday against No. 62 Marshall at noon MDT. Friday the Cougars face Pacific at noon and then round out the weekend’s action against No. 38 Saint Mary’s Saturday at noon at the Outdoor Tennis Courts.
