SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Rose Huang and Naomi Soifua were named to the All-West Coast Conference women's golf team on Monday afternoon.

Huang finished second at the WCC Championship in Spokane over the weekend, a year after winning the event as a junior. She posted top-10 scores in four of 10 events this season. Huang was named to the all-conference team all four years at BYU and was the WCC Player of the Year as a freshman.

Soifua took fifth-place at the conference championship for her best finish of the season. The sophomore played well enough to claim top-10 honors in two other tournaments. Soifua was named Freshman of the Year by the WCC last season.

Pepperdine's Hira Naveed was named Player of the Year. Waves coach Laurie Gibbs received Coach of the Year. Gonzaga's Quynn Duong took home Freshman of the Year.

The full team and conference release are available at WCCSports.com.
