Cougars head to the Gold Rush for second spring tourney
SEAL BEACH, Calif. – BYU women's golf travels to Southern California on Monday for the Gold Rush tournament at Old Ranch Country Club.
"We're looking forward to improving upon last week and feeling the sun," BYU head coach Carrie Roberts said.
The Cougars are coming off an eighth-place finish at the Rebel Beach Invitational in Las Vegas, where Rose Huang led the team with a 12-over and Allysha Mae Mateo had her second-best collegiate round with a 74 on the final day.
BYU will compete with 15 other teams in an event in which they placed second last year. Teams will play two rounds on Monday and the final 18-hole round on Tuesday.
Play begins Monday at 8 a.m. PST. Live stats and a leaderboard are available at GolfStat.com.
