WOODLAND, Calif. - Seniors Robb Stowell and Futi Tavana have been selected to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic Team for their performances off, and on, the court in 2012.

To receive this honor a student athlete must have participated in over 50 percent of his team's competitions, have a 3.00 or better cumulative GPA and be at least a sophomore academically.

Stowell is the career kills leader in BYU's rally scoring era and his 3.32 kills per set this year ranks 25th in the country. Stowell was named to the All-MPSF Second Team earlier this year.

Tavana is the career blocks leader in BYU's rally scoring era and his 1.60 blocks per set places him second in the country and MPSF. Tavana was named to the All-MPSF First Team.
