Moser added to USA Volleyball roster for the U21 Pan American Cup
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — USA Volleyball announced that 12 current and incoming NCAA men’s volleyball players have been selected to the U.S. roster for the U21 Pan American Cup from June 5-10 in Havana, Cuba, featuring BYU men's volleyball's freshman outside hitter Trent Moser.
The 12-athlete team was selected from a roster of 20 at the end of a five-day training block in Anaheim, California. The U.S. is looking to earn its second consecutive gold medal at the U21 NORCECA Pan American Cup this summer. Six players on the roster return from the team that won gold at the 2022 Men’s U21 Pan American Cup in Havana and qualified for the 2023 World Championship, including Moser.
Moser had 190 kills, 85 digs and 20 service aces in his first season with the BYU men's volleyball team. He started in 18 matches for the Cougars in 2023 and averaged 2.06 kills per set, along with 0.77 blocks per set.
