After two weeks on the road, the second-ranked BYU men's volleyball team will return to the Smith Fieldhouse this week when they host No. 13 UC San Diego on Thursday and Friday, Feb. 24 and 25, at 7 p.m. both days.

Both games will be broadcast live on BYUtv and online at byutv.org/streaming.

The Cougars host UC San Diego with an 11-4 overall record and 7-3 holding in league play. Junior Robb Stowell leads the BYU attack on 203 kills and an overall .349 attacking percentage.

Taylor Sander and Futi Tavana are also recording double-digit kills with 156 and 114, respectively, while Tavana is just one block short of recording his 100th season block.

Setter Joe Kauliakamoa has recorded 475 assists this season as he paces the Cougar offense, averaging 9.69 per set.

The Tritons come to Provo with a 6-10 overall record and 3-7 standing in conference action with redshirt sophomore Carl Eberts currently leading UC San Diego’s attack with 170 kills and a .213 hitting percentage.

Senior Calvin Ross and junior Shane Veiga join Eberts in double-figure kills with 108 and 127, repsectively. Phil Bannan has tallied 549 assists and 32 service aces on the year.
