No. 2 BYU returns home for matches against No. 12 CSUN
PROVO, Utah – No. 2 BYU men’s volleyball returns home to the Smith Fieldhouse this week for matches against No. 12 CSUN.
Last Time Out
BYU (12-2, 8-2 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation) swept both matches over the weekend on the road at No. 15 Cal Baptist. Ben Patch had 17 kills the first night and Jake Langlois led the team with 11 kills the next night.
No. 12 CSUN
- BYU will play CSUN (10-5, 5-5 MPSF) first on Friday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m. MST and then Saturday, Feb. 27, at 8 p.m. MST.
- The Matadors have won three of their last four matches, falling on the road at Cal Baptist along that stretch.
- CSUN currently sits tied for sixth place in the conference standings with Hawai’i and Pepperdine.
- The Cougars lead the overall series history 36-22 and are 21-8 when playing against the Matadors at home. Last year, BYU won both matches on the road in three sets to end a six-match losing streak.
