Freshman Francis Sargeant will face Azusa Pacific’s Whitman Hough in the quarterfinals of the singles qualifying consolation draw Saturday.

Three doubles team remain alive as the main draw gets underway Saturday.

Both out of the main singles draw, Cullimore and Sargeant are able to focus their attention on the doubles main draw, where the pair found themselves after a successful qualifying rounds performance. The teammates look to upset No. 2 seed Alex Brigham and Clay Thompson of UCLA Saturday.

With an automatic main draw placing, the No. 4 seed Batrakov and Kawka begin doubles competition Saturday against UC Riverside’s Austin Andres and Felix Marcherez in the Round of 16.
