Freshman Year 2008-2009

  • Racked up seven wins and four losses during the fall
  • Teamed up with Thomas Shubert to earn a place in the quarterfinals of the So Cal Tournament
  • Received Mountain West Conference player of the week honors for his performance against Utah State and Weber State to start the season
  • Finished the spring with a 15-9 record after playing most of the season at the Nos. 4 and 5 position
Sophmore Year 2009-2010

  • Teamed up with Thomas Shubert to make it to the doubles semifinals at the Utah Fall Tennis Classic
  • Advanced to the semifinals of the Boise State Fall Classic in singles after defeating the tournament's No. 1 seed
  • Also competed in the doubles quarterfinal of the same tournament
  • Advanced to the singles semifinals at the ITA Mountain Region Championship in singles and the Round of 16 in doubles with Daniel Hwang
  • Was the first Cougar to record over 30 singles wins since 1990
  • Earned Player of the Week honors for the second time in his career after going 4-0 against Denver and Drake

Junior Year 2010-2011

  • In fall play, put up one win and one loss
  • Made it to the finals of the Utah Invitational with doubles partner Tyler Loong
  • Earned MWC Player of the Week honors for performances against No. 46 Indiana and No. 52 San Diego State
  • Secured BYU's win against Nevada with his victory against Victor Ouvrard on Court 2
  • Received MWC Player of the Week honors for his performance in the H. E. B. Tournament of Champions and for helping his team sweep No. 52 DePaul, No. 45 Maryland and No. 54 Texas A&M C.C.
  • Went on a 17-match singles winning streak and 11-match doubles winning streak during regular season play
  • Went undefeated in singles in conference play
  • Earned MWC Player of the Week accolades for his performances against TCU during conference play and in the MWC Championships final

  • Reached the Round of 16 in the main draw of the ITA All-American Championships, a feat that has not been done by a Cougars since 2002
  • Advanced to the doubles semifinals of the Southern California Intercollegiate Championships with Patrick Kawka but did not compete due to BYU's policy of not playing on Sunday
  • Started the spring season ranked No. 43 nationally
  • Defeated No. 80 Wessim Derbel of Nevada, 6-4, 6-3, on Feb. 17, defeated No. 133 Kyle Dandan of No. 34 Santa Clara March 23, defeated No. 20 Finn Tearney of No. 7 Pepperdine April 21 at the No. 1 singles position
  • Had a seven match and eight match win streak seperated by one loss with No. 1 doubles partner Patrick Kawka
  • Defeated No. 6 Alex Llompart and Finn Tearney of No. 7 Pepperdine with Kawka April 21
  • Named to the All-WCC First Team Singles and All-WCC Second Team Doubles
  • Was nationally ranked the entire season
  • FInished the season 22-11 in singles and 26-9 in doubles
