Blair Finishes in top-25 at Southwest Regional
TUCSON, Ariz. -- A third-round 68 (-3) helped Zac Blair move up 20 spots to tie for 25th overall at the NCAA Southwest Regional Saturday in Tucson, Arizona.
Despite finishing the tournament with a 1-over 214, just 10 strokes off the lead, Blair failed to claim the individual birth to the NCAA Championships to be held in June.
Blair recorded five birdies in his final round helped Blair jump up the leader board after starting day three tied for 45th.
Mountain West Conference opponent San Diego State took home the team title with a 19-under 833 performance and Matt Hansen of UC Davis claimed the individual title by shooting a 9-under 204.
