Rodgers improves in second round of NCAA Regional Championships

BREMERTON, Washington – Jordan Rodgers moved up seven places to a tie for 48th after the second round of the 2015 NCAA Bremerton Regional Championships.

Competing as an individual, Rodgers shot four strokes better on the second day, shooting a one-over-par 73. He is shooting six-over-par for the tournament and is in a six-way tie for 48th place.

Rodgers remains tied with fellow West Coast Conference individual James Fahy from Gonzaga after Fahy also moved up seven spots. Another WCC member who made it as an individual, Byron Meth from Pacific, made a huge jump in the second round to put him in a tie for 12th (-3). The lone WCC team in this regional event, Pepperdine, dropped two places to 10th (+11).

TCU overtook the University of Alabama-Birmingham for first place (-12). Cheng-Tsung Pan from Washington moved into the top spot individually, shooting eight-under-par.
