PROVO, Utah - Back on the road, the BYU women’s tennis team travels to Boise for matchups with University of Texas Arlington and Boise State this weekend.

The Cougars (3-7) will face University of Texas Arlington Friday at 1 p.m. and Boise State Saturday at noon at the Appleton Tennis Center.

After dropping its first two matches in Texas, BYU wrapped up its road-trip last weekend with a 4-3 win over then-No. 75 SMU. The victory was BYU’s first over a ranked team this season.

Freshman Meghan Sheehan-Dizon holds the lead for the Cougars with six singles wins during dual matches. When playing alongside senior Megan Price, the No. 1 doubles duo has a team-high five wins during spring.

The University of Texas Arlington (6-3) is coming of its fourth conference win of the season after defeating the Lamar Cardinals 5-2.

Marlena Pietzuch and Sandy Vo lead Boise State (6-4), each with a 8-2 dual record in singles. The Broncos are coming off a 6-1 win over Montana. BYU dropped the last match between the two schools, 2-5, in Feb. 2011.

The Cougars wrap up their eight-match road trip March 17 when they take on instate rival University of Utah at the Eccles Tennis Center.
