“We had an amazing day with some great swimming,” BYU head coach John Brooks said. “Josue breaking a school record and others earning top-five placements made for an even better day.”

Several BYU swimmers had impressive races with many earning spots in BYU's all-time bests. Many Cougars placed in the top 10 during the competition, including Brayden Murphy who placed tenth in the 100-yard backstroke with a career-best time of 49.40. Garrett Anderson and Tanner Murphy took eighth and ninth in the men’s 400-yard individual medley event with times of 3:58.37 and 3:58.41, respectively.

Both the men and women's teams placed in the top five in the 200-yard medley relay with the men coming in third and the women coming in fourth.
