Freshman Year 2007-2008

  • Had a 4-2 doubles record with fellow freshman Tom Young in the fall
  • Played the majority of the spring season at the No. 2 position in the singles lineup, tallying a 16-11 record
  • Battled through flu-like symptoms to win a tough three-set singles match in BYU's win over Montana State
  • Finished the season ranked ninth in the Mountain Region
  • Awarded Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Year honors
  • Ended the spring season with a 13-7 doubles record with Daniel Hwang
  • Together the freshmen ranked No. 9 in the region

Sophmore Year 2008-2009

  • Defeated Cristian Hodel in straight sets to claim the BYU Invitational singles title
  • Teamed up with A.J. Young to earn a place in the doubles final as well
  • Advanced with partner Cassidy Mears to the semifinals at the Mountain Region Championships
  • Paired up with Georgy Batrakov at the So Cal Tournament to advance to the semifinal round
  • Owned a 12-12 singles record in the spring season
  • Had an 8-4 doubles record with teammate Daniel Hwang
  • Finished the season ranked No. 17 in singles in the Mountain Region
Junior Year 2009-2010

  • Competed in the singles and doubles semifinals at the Utah Fall Tennis Classic
  • Won the singles title at the Boise State Fall Classic in the fall
  • Also won the singles title at the Utah Invitational
  • Advanced to the Round of 16 at the regional tournament in singles and the quarterfinals with Cassidy Mears in doubles
  • Began the season with a six-match win streak at the No. 1 position

  • Earned MWC Player of the Week honors for his 4-0 record against Air Force and New Mexico in the opening weekend of conference play

Senior Year 2010-2011

  • In fall play, recorded eight wins and two losses
  • Beat teammate Evan Urbina to take the Utah Fall Tennis Classic singles title
  • Played in singles and doubles in the ITA All-American Invitational
  • Took the Mountain Region doubles title with partner Spencer Smith after beating teammates Evan Urbina and Patrick Kawka
  • Played in the ITA National Indoor Championships with Spencer Smith in New York
  • Ranked No. 44 in doubles nationally with Smith to start spring season
  • Went 14-3 in doubles with Georgy Batrakov, including an 11-match winning streak
  • Named to the All-MWC doubles team
