PROVO, Utah — BYU women's volleyball continued to receive postseason awards as middle blocker Heather Gneiting and outside hitter Erin Livingston were named Honorable Mention All-Americans by VolleyballMag.com on Thursday afternoon.

Also named American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Honorable Mention All-Americans, Gneiting and Livingston helped the Cougars to a No. 18 final AVCA ranking after they went 22-7 and made the NCAA Tournament for an 11th-straight season.

Gneiting received five All-America citations during her four-year career at BYU. Her 2022 season placed her in the Cougar record book in multiple statistical categories, including second in the rally scoring era with 52 solo blocks and No. 6 in the era with 524 total blocks. The middle blocker led the team in aces (32) and total blocks (121) this season, finishing second on the team in kills, with 244.

Receiving the second All-America citation of her career, Livingston led BYU to a .298 season hitting percentage, the fourth-highest in the nation. She hit .304 for the year with a team-high 437 kills, posting double-digit kills in all but one of the Cougars' 29 matches. The outside hitter also ranked No. 15 nationwide in kills per set (4.46) and No. 16 in points per set (4.95).
