Eschenberg, Koerber named to CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team
GREENWOOD, Ind. — BYU women’s volleyball players Kennedy Eschenberg and Kenzie Koerber were named to the 2021 CoSIDA Academic All-District Eight First-Team.
Eschenberg graduated with a degree in elementary education in August 2021 and finished with a 3.87 GPA. She minored in family life and TESOL K-12. This is the middle blocker’s third time receiving this recognition. During her career, she earned WCC All-Academic First Team (2019, 2020) and CoSIDA Academic All-American Third Team (2020). These accomplishments contributed to Eschenberg becoming a Senior CLASS Award finalist this season.
This is Koerber’s second time receiving CoSIDA academic recognition. The opposite hitter graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in communications and maintained a 4.0 GPA. Currently, she is pursuing post-baccalaureate studies. Like Eschenberg, her high marks academically earned her a spot as a Senior CLASS Award Finalist in 2020/21.
The Academic All-District Volleyball Team recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To be eligible, student-athletes must be a starter or significant contributor and maintain at least a 3.30 cumulative GPA.
