Cougars Named WCC All-Academic
SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Postseason honors continue to come in for BYU women's volleyball with four Cougars named West Coast Conference All-Academic on Wednesday.
Senior libero Mary Lake, senior outside hitter Riley Lyman and junior middle blocker Kennedy Eschenberg were placed on the All-Academic Team while senior setter Kiani Moea'i was named honorable mention.
Lake is an accounting major currently in the master's of accountancy program. Joining her in the BYU Marriott School of Business, Lyman and Moea'i are both completing their degrees in experience design and management while Eschenberg is majoring in elementary education. Lake, Lyman and Eschenberg were also each named CoSIDA Academic All-District earlier this season.
BYU and Saint Mary's tied for the most honorees on the team this season; the Cougars have now had 16 WCC All-Academic awardees in the past five years under head coach Heather Olmstead.
