Lake Takes WCC Player of the Week
MORAGA, Calif. – Senior libero Mary Lake of BYU women's volleyball was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week after a historic performance last week.
The All-American and U.S. National Team member became the Cougars' all-time career digs leader last Thursday at Santa Clara, finishing with a season-high 21 digs along with seven assists and an ace in the win.
In a sweep two days later at San Francisco, Lake again had double-digit digs, finishing with 11, and four assists.
Lake now has 1,815 career digs, currently placing her fifth all-time and fourth in the rally scoring era in WCC history.
The WCC award is Lake's third of her career after being named Player of the Week once in 2016 and again in 2017.
